The Bears will be well-represented in Hallmark’s upcoming Chicago-themed holiday movie.
The team announced on social media Wednesday who will be appearing in the upcoming film “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story.” They also revealed the premiere date for the movie.
“Get ready to see some familiar faces in Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story premiering Saturday October 17 on Hallmark Channel, streaming next day on Hallmark Plus!” the caption on their post read.
Among the current team members making cameos in the film are Colston Loveland, Cole Kmet and Ben Johnson. Other notable names on the cast are Bears legends Charles “Peanut” Tillman, Mike Singletary and Dan Hampton, along with Connie Payton, the wife of the late Walter Payton, and Staley.
The movie had already been seen filming in and around Chicago, with production wrapping up last month.
The cast features a roster of popular stars, including Lyndsy Fonseca from “How I Met Your Mother,” Robert Buckley from “One Tree Hill,” four-time Academy-Award nominee Marsha Mason from “Grace and Frankie,” Barbara Alyn Woods from “One Tree Hill,” and Khary Payton from “The Walking Dead.”
Other notable names making appearances in the film are Tamera Mowry-Housley and Marilu Henner, and Chicago-area locals like “Stranger Things” favorite Jake Connelly and Dyon “Mojo” Brooks.
Hallmark announced the film in June, saying the Bears “have been drafted” for this year’s NFL-themed holiday movie. Titled “Holiday Touchdown: A Bears Love Story,” it will mark the third movie in the sports-themed franchise.
“After the tremendous success of our first two Holiday Touchdown movies, we knew we wanted to continue the tradition by partnering with another iconic NFL franchise and fan base. The Chicago Bears have a rich history, passionate supporters, and a culture that extends far beyond the football field, making them a perfect fit for a heartwarming holiday story,” Darren Abbott, president and chief brand officer for Hallmark Media, said in a statement. “We can’t wait for audiences to experience this story and celebrate the passion and spirit that bring Bears fans together.”
According to the company and the Bears, the movie will premiere later in 2026 during the Hallmark Channel’s annual “Countdown to Christmas,” though an exact date has not yet been announced.

Previous movies in the NFL-themed Hallmark holiday lineup have included The Chiefs and The Bills.
The Chicago film will premiere at 7 p.m. CT on Oct. 17.
