The second X-Files feature film was released in 2008 - but now director Chris Carter is getting a second run at it with a new cut, which will bump the film up from a PG-13 rating to an R rating (similar to changing from a 12 to a 15 in the UK).
You can check out the trailer below, which sees the return of David Duchovny's Fox Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Dana Scully, and already clearly dials up the horror elements, displaying "a darker, frightening thriller exploring a real-life Dr Frankenstein."
