Jaggers dropped 0.16 off the old meet record of a 25.19 set by Gavin Keogh at this meet a year ago. Jaggers dropped 0.26 off his lifetime best 25.39 he swam three weeks ago at Sectionals in Austin, Texas. Jaggers was 11th in the event a year ago at Summer Juniors in a 26.26.
The 14 year old Leasure broke his own 13-14 NAG record of a 25.99 that he swam three weeks ago at Sectionals in Westmont. Leasure has made huge strides in the last year as he swam a 28.44 for 104th at this meet a year ago. Leasure notably also holds the 13-14 NAG in the boys 100 back with a best time of a 55.86 and has the chance to lower that record this week in Irvine.
