Being welcomed back into the Premier League, it was an up-and-down season for our favorite footballers. But, going into the finale, the Greyhounds had worked their way into contention for the championship, provided they defeat their rival West Ham. In the most high-stakes game of the season, the first half gets off to a bad start, as Richmond is trailing 2-0 by halftime. Normally, this would be the perfect time for Ted to step up and give a rousing speech, giving his team the vital mindset they need to come from behind. But it's time for the student to become the master.Earlier in the season, Ted had angrily ripped up his iconic "Believe" sign after star player Zava (Maximilian Osinski) announced he would be retiring. In the moment, he used it as an affirmation that belief was more than just paper and tape, and the true investments they have in each other cannot be ripped apart. Regardless, in this moment, the team reveals they all had been holding on to pieces of the sign since it was first torn up. And so, bit by bit, the biggest imagery from the show stood strong once more, cracked, but resolue.It turns out that was what Richmond needed to get their butts in gear. Jamie (Phil Dunster) easily gets the first goal for the team, while Isaac (Kola Bokinni) stuns everyone by scoring his first-ever penalty kick. Rupert (Anthony Head), Rebecca's ex-husband and series antagonist, gets his just desserts on the pitch. The West Ham owner assaults the manager for not purposely injuring Jamie, leading him to get removed from the game to jeers and "wanker" calls abound. In the eleventh hour, the Greyhounds run a trick play courtesy of Nate (Nick Mohammad), who had been welcomed back to the team after briefly defecting to West Ham. And the assistant kit manager comes through for his current former team, as Richmond scores and takes home the win.Sadly, the team does not win the Premier League championship, as Manchester City had also won their match. Still, the pundits and fans laud Richmond and Ted for their skill and attitude. Does Rebecca sell the team?

As Richmond's success has grown, so has Rebecca's profile. As Higgins (Jeremy Swift) informs her in the finale, the club value is at an all-time high, and he suggests that she take advantage of the opportunity to sell 49% of her shares, leaving her with majority ownership. Rebecca, however, is considering an even bigger extreme: Selling the team. After acquiring Richmond from Rupert in the beginning of the series, she feels she no longer has anything to prove. And it doesn't necessarily help that Ted and Beard (Brendan Hunt) have announced that they're heading back to the States after the season. By the end of the episode, however, her tune has very much changed. Emboldened by the season's end, she's decided to take Higgins' advice, selling 49% of the shares to the fans. At long last, the eccentric peanut gallery that Ted has been privy to for the entirety of his time overseas will get a say in the team. Do Roy and Keeley get back together?

While there are plenty of Ted and Rebecca shippers out there, the true romance of Ted Lasso lies with Roy (Brett Goldstein) and Keeley (Juno Temple). The two are the true definition of opposites attract, but the irascible player and bubbly model somehow seem perfect for each other. After dancing around one another in Season 1, the two made things official in Season 2, though it didn't come without its struggles. Those struggles manifested in a shocking reveal in the Season 3 premiere: Roy and Keeley had broken up. Both of them had growing responsibilities — him coaching Richmond and her running her own PR firm — and realized they couldn't find the time to invest in their relationship. The two spend the season on their separate paths, with Keeley even briefly pursuing a thing with Jack (Jodi Balfour). And those paths happen to merge once more in Episode 10, when Roy apologizes to her for ending their relationship, and they wind up sleeping together.When the finale hits, clearly the dalliance has ignited something in the former footballer. He begins to grow paranoid that Jamie is trying to rekindle something between them, confronting his frenemy. The two begin to then fight, taking the disagreement to Keeley herself. Asked to choose between them, she opts for "none of the above," berating them for their sexism before kicking them out. It's a surprisingly sour note to end the Roy/Keeley dynamic on, one of the only points that lacked resolution in the Season 3 finale. Ted heads home

Leaving the airport after saying goodbye to Ted, Rebecca happens to run into the Dutchman (Matteo van der Grijn), whom she had a one-night stand with in Amsterdam after being rescued from a canal. Having spent all of Season 3 heeding the warnings of her mother's psychic, the final part of her prophecy comes to pass. The two become a happy couple, as she seemingly becomes a form of a stepmother to the Dutchman's daughter.Trent Crimm (James Lance) publishes his book about the team. As suggested by Ted, the writer formerly of The Independent changes the title from The Lasso Way to The Richmond Way.Roy is made the new manager of Richmond, as he, Beard, and Nate comprise the coaching staff. Making up for his previous transgressions, Nate glues together the "Believe" sign, making it a mainstay of the locker room once more. And, following in the footsteps of his predecessor, Roy starts having sessions with Sharon (Sarah Niles), Richmond's new Head of Mental Health.Rupert is removed as the owner of West Ham, becoming a pariah in the media. Sadly, this is where the character's journey will come to an end, following the death of Anthony Head in June 2026.Having served as the hero to give Richmond its final goal of the season, Sam is picked to play on the Nigerian national football team.Following a tense game against his old team Manchester City, Jamie is able to reconcile with his abusive father, with the two of them bonding over family photos.Beard marries a pregnant Jane in a fantastical pagan ceremony at Stonehenge. All of Richmond, along with their respective partners, are in attendance.Most pertinently for what's to come, Keeley comes to Rebecca with a pitch: An AFC Richmond women's team. The two gal pals excitedly scream at the prospect. And we will see the fruits of their labors in Season 4!Ted settles down back at home in Kansas, having returned specifically to be there for his son. In the last scene of the season, we see he's coaching Henry's soccer team, where he ends up missing out on a goal. Showing the lessons he learned across the pond, Ted reminds his son to "be a goldfish," sends him back on the field, and smiles contentedly. At least until he'll be called back into action in the episodes to come.
