July 28-August 1, 2026 Ocala, Florida LCM (50 meters) Psych Sheet ResultsDay 4 of the 2026 YMCA National Championship featured several swimmers add more national titles to their totals for the meet, with the team battle tightening up into the final day of competition.
Following night 4 of action, Upper Main Line remains in the lead for the combined team points trophy, totaling 751.5 points. However, Upper Main Line hasn’t widened the 100 point gap that they established by day 2 over Greater Spartanburg, as Y-Spartaquatics remains in 2nd with 650.5 points total. That effort on day 4 was widely led by the Spartanburg boys, as they managed to surpass Upper Main Line on the boys’ team points total after trailing on day 3. Greater Somerset County still remains atop the boys’ team points standings with 422.5 points. However, Spartanburg (399.5) and Upper Main Line (394) remain in close striking distance. Lakeland Hills Family YMCA has taken full contol of the girls’ team points standings, leading with 455.5 to hold a 98 point advantage over both Jersey Shore and Upper Main Line, who are tied at 2nd currently with 357.5 points.
To start off the day 4 swimming action, the girls’ 50 butterfly kicked off the session, as Maya Freeman of the YMCA of the Jersey Shore captured the national title in 28.29. The 18-year-old improved on her prelims swim to edge the field, finishing 0.14 seconds ahead of the rest of the podium. Morgan Peterson of Ridley Area also lowered her time from the morning session to finish 2nd in 28.43, while Ali Sadri of ME Lyons rounded out the podium in 28.48.
The boys’ 50 butterfly saw BYU commit Jimmy Beeson of Greater Spartanburg add another national title to his impressive meet, touching first in 24.46. After narrowly finishing 2nd to Luke Hamon in the boys’ 100 butterfly on Day 3, Beeson flipped the result in the shorter distance. Hamon lowered his prelims swim to finish 2nd in 25.03, while Christopher Wasko of Greater Somerset County rounded out the podium in 25.23.
Upper Palmentto’s Amelia Meehan captured the girls’ 100 backstroke to complete the sprint backstroke sweep, as the 15-year-old followed up her 50 backstroke victory with another national title. Meehan dropped more than a second from her prelims swim to post a winning time of 1:03.10. Addyson Despeaux of Ridley Area and Kate Chesley of Greenwich touched the wall in identical times of 1:04.28 to tie for 2nd.
In the boys’ 100 backstroke, Kyle Burk of Ridley Area continued his dominant meet with a victory in 57.72. Burk, who won the 200 backstroke on Day 3, improved on his prelims swim to capture his second individual title of the meet. Michael Metz of Powel Crosley Jr. YMCA finished 2nd in 57.90, while Upper Main Line’s Jayden Kwon rounded out the podium in 58.10.
The girls’ 100 breaststroke saw Grace Hunt of Greater Spartanburg continue her impressive championship, as she captured her second individual national title of the meet in 1:11.30. After winning the 200 breaststroke earlier in the competition, Hunt managed to hold off a tightly packed field for a huge victory. Morgan Mindrebo of West Morris delivered one of the biggest improvements of the final, dropping nearly two seconds from her morning swim to finish 2nd in 1:11.74. Emma Price of the YMCA of the Jersey Shore rounded out the podium in 1:11.77, with just 0.47 seconds separating the top three swimmers.
While the girls’ race was close, the boys’ 100 breaststroke produced one of the closest finishes of the meet, with just 0.10 seconds separating the top three swimmers. Sebastian Tith of Upper Main Line captured the national title in 1:03.44 after improving by more than seven-tenths of a second from prelims. Fifteen-year-old Cullen Cashman of South Shore YMCA continued his outstanding meet, finishing just 0.03 seconds behind in 1:03.47 for his third individual silver medal. William Rees of York rounded out the podium in 1:03.54, adding another medal to his impressive championship after winning the boys’ 200 breaststroke and 400 individual medley.
The girls’ 400 freestyle saw Serena Dickey add another individual national title to her meet, as the Illinois commit from Lakeland Hills stormed to victory in 4:24.03. Dickey dropped nearly six seconds from her prelims swim to secure her second individual championship after winning the 100 butterfly on Day 3. Keilani Silva of Upper Main Line finished 2nd in 4:25.34, while Eva Lyle of Greater Spartanburg touched 3rd in 4:25.94.
In the boys’ 400 freestyle, Jack Ackerman of Farmington Valley captured the national title in 4:02.54. Ackerman dropped more than four seconds from his prelims swim to secure the victory. Domingo Gatti of Greater Somerset County turned in a strong finals performance, finishing 2nd in 4:03.79 after dropping nearly six seconds, while Charlie Brown of York was just behind in 4:03.86.
The girls’ 200 freestyle relay saw Powel Crosley Jr. YMCA race to the national title, as the quartet of Isabelle Schroeder, Eleanor Hardy, Janna Spetz, and Brynne Pontius touched in 1:46.43. The team improved by nearly a second from prelims to hold off a tightly packed field. Cheshire finished 2nd in 1:47.49 behind Camdyn Driend, Kylie McKirryher, Annie Superchi, and Gabrielle Williamson, while the YMCA of the Jersey Shore rounded out the podium in 1:47.59 with Sydney VanDeBoe, Katherine Kennedy, Casey Demuth, and Amira Washington.
Closing out the session, Greater Spartanburg captured the boys’ 200 freestyle relay title, as the team of Maddex Ternes, Levi Smith, Henry Hutton, and Jimmy Beeson touched in 1:34.45, adding another championship to an already impressive meet for Beeson and Ternes. Upper Main Line finished 2nd in 1:34.71 behind Charles O’Hara, Lincoln Annise, Sam Vallino, and Sebastian Tith, while Greater Somerset County rounded out the podium in 1:35.34 with Domingo Gatti, Jack Thompson, Joshua Cetin, and Christopher Wasko.
