The lawsuit claims that the Peltz family was aware their dog, Houdini, had a history of being “prone to attack people” before the alleged incident, and “never had K-9 training or behavior training.”

The filing claims she suffered “bodily injury and resulting physical and mental pain and suffering, disability, physical impairment, disfigurement, mental anguish, inconvenience, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, loss of earnings and impairment of earning capacity and/or permanent aggravation of a pre-existing condition, and further incurred hospital bills, medical bills, and/or other bills as a result of said injuries.”
The lawsuit also claims the couple “failed to report Houdini’s dangerous propensities to the appropriate animal control authority and failed to obtain a certificate of registration for Houdini.”
The Peltz family have not made any public statement in response to the lawsuit.
