Highlighting the final night of the 2026 NCSA Summer Championships was 15 year old Kennedy Brooks as she swam to two wins. Brooks kicked the night off with a 28.82 50 back for the win and closed the individual session of the meet with a 26.05 50 free. Her 50 free was a 0.76 second drop. Brooks also won the 100 back earlier in the meet.

After winning the 200 fly in a lifetime best earlier this week, KC Braeger touched in a 2:15.92 in the 200 IM. The Stanford commit was just off her lifetime best 2:15.45 she swam to win the event at the 2024 NCSA Championships.

The girls 800 free saw top seeded Katherine Warkentin win in a 8:51.3, about 0.28 off her lifetime best. Her time today was notably faster than her 8:54.27 she swam for 3rd at Canadian Trials earlier this month. Touching behind Warkentin was 13 year old Harper Rauch who swam to a 8:58.30, a 15 second drop.

The boys side of the evening saw Jacob Bougaieff win the 200 IM in a lifetime best 2:03.76. That dropped from his previous best of a 2:05.82 he swam just last month. He was 7th in the event at this meet a year ago in a 2:05.88.

Nicholas Liberty dropped over five seconds to win the 1500 free as Liberty touched in a 15:40.04 to win by almost 20 seconds. The 17 year old has dropped over seven seconds in the event this summer as he entered 2026 with a lifetime best 15:47.28 he swam for 15th at Summer Juniors last August.

Northwestern commit Ben Whiteford was 3rd in the 50 back last summer with a 26.27 and dropped a tenth tonight for the win in a 26.17. The final individual winner of the meet was Nazar Zoukovski as the Arizona commit swam to a 23.06 50 free. That was a huge lifetime best as his previous best was a 23.85 from June 2025.
