The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Monday’s scheduled weekly cabinet meeting was moved to a secure underground location amid tensions with Iran.
The Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper confirmed that the decision to move the government meeting to a fortified underground site was made suddenly and at the last minute due to the escalating security situation.
The Israeli radio explained that the government is approving on Monday the extension of the state of emergency until August 11, against the backdrop of the situation in Iran and Lebanon.
