God of War Laufey is a new chapter in the series and will be released on 16th February 2027, as Laufey learns she must fight through the afterlife of the gods.
During the panel, Barlog said of the upcoming Laufey-led game that he wanted to see an extension and expansion of the world where the characters we meet are unexpected.
"Everything we are doing in the Faye game is a continuation of what came before and to set up and expand what comes next," he explained. "Phranque has been around since the beginning. It's interesting to see how to build this world out. Everything in the game is setting up for something so amazing."
