Loveland also discussed his relationship with Caleb Williams and the moment when things started to click for Chicago’s offense during his rookie season. In a recent post at ESPN, Michael DiRocco asked kickers and coaches around the league if the NFL should at some point adopt the UFL’s four-point field goal rule. If you’re not familiar, the UFL adopted a rule last year that made field goals north of 60 yards worth four points instead of the traditional three. The opinions of NFL kickers and coaches around the league were interesting, and former Bears kicker Jake Moody even weighed in on the discussion. “I think that’d be kind of cool,” Moody said. “Why not?
