Health Ministry: 54 new coronavirus cases recorded, 79 patients recover, 5 pass away ...Syria

Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry on Tuesday said that 54 new coronavirus cases were registered in Syria, adding that 79 patients recovered, and 5 passed away.  In a statement to SANA, the Ministry added that the total number of infections recorded in the country has reached up to 15,642 till now, of which 9,880 have recovered, while 1,032 have passed away.  The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd 2019 in a person who came from abroad, meanwhile the first fatality was recorded on 29th of the same month.
