Texas Senior Circuit Meet IV
June 26-19, 2026 Steve Bultman Pool, College Station, TX LCM (50 meters) “Texas Senior Circuit Meet IV” on Meet MobileLuke Barr, former Indiana Hoosier and current 100-yard IM American Record holder, is still not done dropping lifetime bests. In fact, this season alone, he has found himself swimming several career-best long-course times, with his latest installment coming in College Station, Texas, at the Texas Senior Circuit Meet, where he notched his fastest-ever 100 butterfly.
Barr stormed to the win in 52.46, marking a near half-second drop in the event from his former best, set in Austin in January at the Pro Swim Series, 52.91.
This season, Barr has continued to turn heads, beginning at the Bergen Swim Festival in April, where he broke the 2:00 barrier for the first time in his career, even surpassing 1:59 with a time of 1:58.93. He then followed that performance up a week later at the SMU Long Course Meet, swimming a career best in the 200 breast in 2:12.96. Fast-forwarding to the Indianapolis Pro Series meet in mid-June, Barr improved on his 200 breast best, lowering it to 2:11.83, and swam a best 100 breast time of 1:00.06, inching closer to that sub-1:00 range.
Barr was not the only performer in College Station to make some noise; his Texas Ford Aquatics teammate Mitch Mason came away from the meet with a pair of solid breaststroke wins, touching in 27.69 in the 50 breast, while adding a 1:00.76 100 breast performance to his meet resume.
On the women’s side, one of the top swims of the meet came at the hands of Texas A&M’s own Ella McQuinn, who notched a lifetime best in the 100 breast in 1:09.30. That time undercuts her previous top time of 1:09.50 that she swam at the Indianapolis Pro Swim Series in 1:09.50.
Hayden Miller of Cypress Fairbanks Swim Club picked up a pair of mid-distance freestyle wins on the women’s side, touching first in the 200 free (2:03.90) and adding another win in the 400 IM in 4:17.44, both of which marked her fastest times of the season.
Another big-time performer was Lakeside Aquatic Club’s Kennedi Southern, an uncommitted prospect in the 2028 recruiting class, who notched three wins on the weekend, leading the 50 free (26.16), the 100 free (57.25), and the 50 fly (27.31). She also added a runner-up finish in the 50 back (30.08).
