Read on to learn more about vintage brands to grab at Goodwill as soon as you spot them to ensure you don’t miss out on a good deal (and some good pieces) for your home.
1. Henredon
View this post on InstagramSarah Hidalgo, a vintage dealer at Her Story Retold, and Susan Petrie, an interior designer at Petrie Interior Designs, both note that they grab any luxury Henredon pieces they spot at Goodwill. “I look for almost any piece from Henredon because I know it will be exceptionally well-made,” says Hidalgo. “At Goodwill, you can sometimes find Henredon pieces for as little as $20–$50, even though many vintage pieces can sell for hundreds or even thousands of dollars, depending on the collection, style, and condition.”

When it comes to durable glassware, Karen Mavros, owner of The New Lincoln Antique Mall and Vintiques & Company, advises adding any Pyrex pieces you see as you make your way through your nearest Goodwill store. “I always look for casserole dishes, refrigerator containers and mixing bowls,” she adds. Not only are items from this brand practical, but they also add a touch of kitchiness, as many of them are fun and eye-catching.
4. Le Creuset

Since Le Creuset can be an investment piece, Jennifer Prince, owner of It’s Found Vintage, does her best to grab any pieces she finds from this brand at Goodwill. While she notes that many of these pieces are more functional than decorative, she finds them to be a beneficial addition to a home. “I recently found a pan at Goodwill for just $8, which was a steal,” she says. “Even if a piece is a specialty piece that only does one job, I think it's worthwhile to grab it while you can.”
5. Waterford

If you’re shopping for accessories, Petrie notes that she doesn’t often let any Waterford pieces continue sitting on the shelf once she sees them. “The crystal has incredible clarity, weight, and sparkle, and it instantly elevates a tabletop or bar,” says Petrie. “Also, it's often dramatically underpriced at Goodwill [as] many people inherit crystal and donate it without realizing its value, so it can be one of the best luxury finds in a thrift store.”
6. Bielecky Brothers

7. Dansk
View this post on InstagramAccording to Petrie, Dansk is another great brand to grab at Goodwill. “Dansk has always embodied great quality Scandinavian design,” she says. “The pieces are simple, functional and beautifully designed, which is why so many have remained relevant for decades.” This brand also offers a variety of products, from candleholders to ice buckets, that you can often buy at Goodwill at a lower price.
8. LANE
View this post on InstagramThere’s no denying that Ralph Lauren is pricey, and why Dr. Lori Verderame, Ph.D., a Pennsylvania-based antiques appraiser, recommends taking advantage of any opportunity you have to make purchases from this brand at Goodwill. While prices may vary depending on the piece, she notes that it will generally be less expensive to purchase from Goodwill than to buy directly from the brand.
