GREECE, N.Y. — A large tree crashed through the roof of a home in Greece on Tuesday night as the homeowner was lying in bed.
News10NBC went to the home on Florence Avenue off Dewey Avenue on Wednesday to check out the damage. Town crews have cleared parts of the tree from the road to reopen the area to traffic. However, the tree still lies across the yard.
The homeowner says the tree broke his bedroom window, sending glass onto his bed as he was lying in it around 9:30 p.m.
