MEDINA, N.Y. — A free international exhibit of contemporary art opened in Medina on Saturday.
Mayor Deborah Padoleski and others kicked off the Medina Triennial 2026 at Historic Medina High School. It features more than 100 works across many locations in the Erie Canal village.
Padoleski said it was a moment everyone has worked hard toward for the past three years.
“Medina truly appreciates being chosen as the site for this event. The next three months will highlight our beautiful canal, and other historical sites around their village, featuring the works of 39 international artists. These artisans have chosen 11 sightings around the village to display their creations, including this high school,” Padoleski said.
The event is free and open to the public. It features year-round public programs and artist residencies.
