2026 Illinois FMC Spring Into Season
May 15-17, 2026 Westmont, IL LCM ResultsThere was more movement up the all-time rankings for Elliot Leasure at the Illinois FMC Spring Into Season meet.
A 14-year-old for the Rochester (MN) Orcas, Leasure won six events, most notably producing a personal best time of 57.00 in the 100 back to move up to 6th all-time in the event (LCM) in the boys’ 13-14 age group. The time also ranks 1st in the boys’ 13-14 age group this season.
In addition, Leasure swam a personal best time of 2:05.16 in the 200 back, which put him first in the boys’ 13-14 age group this season and 16th all-time.
His previous best in the 100 back was 57.78 and his previous best in the 200 back was 2:07.43, both set last summer. This is coming off a short course season where Leasure moved to No. 2 all-time in both the 100 and 200 back in the boys’ 13-14 age group.
Leasure also won the 50 back (27.03), 400 free (4:15.04), 200 fly (2:10.96) and 200 IM (2:13.23). The times in the 50 back and 400 free were personal bests.
In the boys’ 13-14 age group this season, Leasure ranks 1st in the 50 back, 2nd in the 200 fly, 12th in the 200 IM and 14th in the 400 free.
Other notable individual performances at the meet included:
Thomas McMillan, a 16-year-old for St. Charles Swim Team, won the 50 fly in a personal best time of 25.53. McMillan now ranks 15th this season in the 50 fly in the boys’ 15-16 age group. Julia Ogren from Rochester (MN) Swim Club, a Louisville commit, won six events. She captured the 100 free (58.82), 200 free (2:11.63), 400 free (4:38.40), 50 fly (28.37), 100 fly (1:04.04) and the 200 fly (2:22.19). Avery Norman, an 11-year-old at FMC Aquatic Club, swam personal bests to win both the 50 back (39.70) and the 100 back (1:30.20).
