A person has died and another was injured in a crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway Sunday morning.
According to Illinois State Police, the multi-vehicle crash occurred in the outbound lanes of the highway near 18th Street at approximately 3:47 a.m. Sunday.
Police said two individuals were taken to area hospitals. One of those individuals later died from their injuries, but there was no immediate update on the condition of the second individual.
