June 1 is the next important date on the NFL calendar. As far as Brown is concerned, the Cowboys are in no way interested in acquiring his services. The only interest they should have in the All-Pro WR is the fact the move would weaken a division rival and potentially help aid in learning George Pickens’ trade value. While Jerry Jones and Company have been adamant about not being interested in trading Pickens, at least not this year, it’s important information they can tuck away for the future.

Either one would be significant upgrades to what they currently have on the roster if they are indeed made available. LB Patrick Queen is also rumored to be a post-June cut. He’s someone Dallas showed an interest in trading for earlier this offseason.

While there will no doubt be several players made available post-June 1 around the league, it remains to be seen whether or not the Cowboys will make any significant additions.
