Coming back to the upcoming ODI series, the selected players are to report in Islamabad on Friday, while the training camp will only begin on the following day in Rawalpindi. Australia is scheduled to reach Islamabad on Saturday only. This will be their first ODI bilateral series in the country since 2022, where they lost 1-2. Earlier in the year, Pakistan had hosted Australia for a T20I series, which they won 3-0.
