Fleet management software company Fleetworthy has unveiled what it calls three major enhancements to its platform.

Shay Demmons, the company’s chief product officer, said in a Thursday (May 21) news release that the new offerings bring together safety and compliance, toll management and weigh station bypass in a “coordinated, AI-assisted” experience.

“Fleet readiness demands a coordinated approach across safety and compliance, toll management, and weigh station bypass,” Demmons said.

“Bringing our solutions together into a unified experience is about more than just convenience. It allows us to deliver new insights and actions helping customers better understand operations, control cost, and stay ahead of risk while we continue to innovate smarter, more proactive solutions.”

According to the release, customers can now access Fleetworthy’s Safety and Compliance, Toll Management (formerly Bestpass), and Weigh Station Bypass (formerly Drivewyze) through one connected account.

Teams using multiple Fleetworthy products no longer need to switch between portals or keep track of separate logins.

Also new is the company’s Centralized Vehicle Management, designed to offer fleets a centralized way to manage all vehicles across Fleetworthy Safety and Compliance, Toll Management and Weigh Station Bypass.

“A customer can add a vehicle once, and it is automatically enrolled in every applicable Fleetworthy service,” the release said.

Meanwhile, Fleetworthy has rebranded its Drivewyze mobile app to FleetworthyGO for Android users, with the updated app combining weigh station bypass, safety alerts, and driver workflows “into a streamlined, distraction-free in-cab experience.” The company says the current Drivewyze app remains available for iOS users until the transition to FleetworthyGO concludes.

In other fleet management news, PYMNTS wrote this week about the way artificial intelligence (AI)-driven predictive maintenance is helping the trucking industry solve a $25 billion highway breakdown problem.

“Commercial trucks are already generating enormous amounts of data,” the report said. “A typical heavy-duty vehicle produces more than 25,000 data points daily from onboard sensors tracking engine temperature, oil pressure, brake wear and fuel consumption.”

Traditionally, much of that data was housed in disconnected maintenance systems, meaning fleet managers found out about problems only after a breakdown.

AI changes this model, with machine learning systems ingesting real-time sensor readings as well as historical repair records, to identify the combinations of signals that typically precede specific failures, often weeks before a breakdown happens.

“The output isn’t raw data but a specific recommendation: a particular vehicle, a particular component, a service window that fits the route schedule,” the report added. “Repairs shift from roadside emergencies to planned shop visits.”
