ESPN NFL analyst Mina Kimes won a cool million for charity Friday night, capturing the Celebrity Jeopardy! tournament with a strong showing against actor/comedians Ike Barinholtz and Steven Weber.

Kimes entered Friday’s Final Jeopardy round leading the way with $12,500 against Weber’s $10,500 and Barinholtz’s $5,100. She then nailed the clue was about an 1873 novel that also shared its name with a specific time period of US history and a television drama that debuted in 2022 (“What is The Gilded Age?”).

Kimes took home the top prize for her chosen charity, the SELAH Neighborhood Homeless Coalition of Los Angeles – which celebrated her victory with a post on Instagram thanking her for her support and adding.

“These funds will keep our volunteer-led programs active and fuel a movement built on connection and humanity at a time when so many Angelenos are losing access to basics like food benefits, healthcare, and housing support,” the post said.

Kimes, a Yale graduate, is a senior writer at ESPN and analyst on NFL Live. She also hosts an NFL-focused podcast entitled The Mina Kimes Show featuring Lenny, a reference to her dog.
