While it doesn’t look like the former RCB captain will retire from the IPL anytime soon, it’s a great opportunity for SRH to make the most of it monetarily.
The tickets for the SRH vs RCB match went live at 5 PM IST on May 15. The waiting list for the game was 2.60 lakh, underscoring the game’s popularity. To no one’s shock, within minutes, the tickets were all sold out. But something looked amiss. It was the cost of said tickets.
Throughout the season, the cheapest seat cost INR 900. However, now it was 2,000. Earlier, for the same price, one could have bought a South First Terrace seat and saved INR 500. The three cheapest tickets saw the biggest jump, considering they have the highest volume.
