Once registered, customers earn 10 points per dollar spent on qualifying purchases (more points can be earned by participating in challenges and limited-time offers), with the ability to earn points faster as they move through three status tiers—Member, Star, and Legend— determined by how frequently guests visit Sonic.
Subscribers start at the Member tier, which Sonic said gets them 10 points per dollar spent and access to all core perks and offers. After 10 visits in a calendar year, rewards members are upgraded to the Star tier, earning 11 points per dollar spent in addition to all core benefits.
