ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Rochester Police say they’re investigating after a driver who crashed into a man in a wheelchair on Chili Avenue and didn’t stop.

The crash happened around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday near Genesee Park Boulevard. Police say a Black SUV heading east hit the 46-year-old man as he was trying to cross the road, outside of a crosswalk.

Officers say the man didn’t have any visible injuries, but an ambulance took him to the hospital for evaluation. Check back for any updates.
