Winter Juniors qualifier Maggie O’Hara has verbally committed to William and Mary for the class of 2027.

O’Hara lives in Connecticut and competes for Ridgefield Aquatic Club. In December, she swam at the Speedo Winter Juniors East, where she raced the 100 breast, 200 breast, and 200 IM.
In the 100 breast, she swam a personal best 1:04.48 to finish 67th overall. She swam 2:23.87 in the 200 breast and 2:10.20 in the 200 IM, finishing 75th and 115th overall.
In March, she swam at two big meets. She started at the Connecticut Senior Championships, where she set personal best times in the 50 free (24.61), 200 free (1:56.79), 50 breast (29.35), 100 breast (1:03.04), 50 fly (26.82), and 200 IM (2:06.68).
A few weeks later, she swam at the Speedo Sectionals meet in Ithaca, qualifying for event finals in six events. She set new personal best times in the 200 breast (11th — 2:19.60) and 400 IM (15th — 4:33.92). Her highest finish came in the 100 breaststroke, where she swam 1:03.70 to finish 8th.

At the 2026 meet, the women’s team earned the overall title with 1647 points, coming in a little more than 200 points over UNC Wilmington’s 1415.5 in 2nd.
On the William and Mary team last season, O’Hara would have been 3rd on the team in the 100 breast, 6th in the 200 breast, and 9th in the 200 IM.
O’Hara, KK Sullivan, and Caroline Linkous are all members of William and Mary’s class of 2027.
