A live-action series starring everyone's favourite ghost is in the works at Disney Plus after a competitive five-way bidding war.
According to Deadline, the series is set to be a modern update on Casper's story, with a "darker edge", a with it being compared to how Netflix's Wednesday took on the Addams Family tale – so it could be a very interesting tone change for our friendly ghost!
The new series is only in the early stages of development at the moment, so it's not confirmed to go to series.
