Diego Pavia had a frustrating NFL Draft because he never heard his name called, with the former Vanderbilt star quarterback becoming the first Heisman Trophy finalist to go undrafted since 2014.

That’s not the history Pavia wanted to make at the draft in Pittsburgh, but there might be another path to success for Pavia, courtesy of the Baltimore Ravens. According to a report late Sunday afternoon by ESPN insider Adam Schefter, Pavia has accepted an invitation from the Ravens to next weekend’s minicamp.

Pavia, who finished 2nd in the Heisman voting to Indiana quarterback Fernando Mendoza last December, will reportedly report to the Ravens’ minicamp with a chance to start to prove the doubters wrong who contributed to him not being drafted. Right now, Baltimore only has 2 quarterbacks on its roster in longtime starter Lamar Jackson and Tyler Huntley.

Baltimore’s rookie minicamp will begin next Saturday, after the Ravens drafted 11 players this past weekend. Naturally, Pavia wasn’t one of them, but the fiery Vandy QB will reportedly take his place among all of those drafted Baltimore rookies.

Pavia won’t have to deal with any other quarterbacks at the minicamp, with the Ravens not drafting a QB this year and not inviting any other undrafted quarterback to minicamp to go along with Pavia. According to multiple outlets, Baltimore is bringing 15 signed undrafted free agents to minicamp, a list that doesn’t include Pavia because he has only accepted an invite to the minicamp.

With Pavia possibly in the Ravens’ plans for the 2026 season if he impresses enough, Baltimore will once again be fighting with its AFC North rivals for supremacy this fall. Here is what the Kalshi market is currently saying about the Ravens’ odds to get back on top of the AFC North in 2026:
