Salchow moved to Australia in 2022 to train with Kyle Chalmers and Peter Bishop, a move that paid off as he made the 2024 Olympic final in the 100 free.
After Bishop moved to the Netherlands, Salchow followed him there and is now training in Eindhoven. The German Olympian will have another chance at European champs qualification this weekend at the German nationals.
