On the heels of the 2026 NFL Draft kicking off in Pittsburgh on April 23, rumors have swirled online that Nashville will host an upcoming Super Bowl.
The speculation stemmed from sportscaster Dan Patrick reporting on April 21 that a source confirmed to him the 2030 Super Bowl will take place at Nissan Stadium in Nashville, where the Tennessee Titans play.

The city is currently building the new stadium to replace its 27-year-old venue that sits near Music City’s bustling downtown region.
“I was informed by a source on Saturday that it is signed and ready to go in his opinion that Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl,” Patrick said during “The Dan Patrick Show,” which he hosts each weekday morning online. “I haven’t seen any reports on this. And if there is a report on it, I’ll acknowledge that. But this is what I was told on Saturday. Nashville is getting the 2030 Super Bowl.”

Is Nashville hosting the Super Bowl soon?
So far, it’s up in the air whether the city will host an upcoming Super Bowl.

“We joined a large coalition with a letter of support for the idea of hosting a Super Bowl in Nashville,” Alex Apple, press secretary for Nashville Mayor Freddie O’Connell, told USA TODAY on April 21. “We have not been advised by the league of Nashville’s selection or any potential dates.”
The Tennessean, part of the USA Today Network, reported a representative from the Titans said there are “no updates on the timeline of a Nashville Super Bowl” and that nothing had been confirmed.

Late last year, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell dubbed Nashville a “Super Bowl ready city.”

“It’s an important franchise and a wonderful franchise for the NFL. From the moment you had the draft and what you did to change the trajectory of the draft, you actually took the draft and made it yours, but you did it in a way that made it incredibly impactful to the future of the NFL and the Titans,” Goodell said during a ceremony for the new stadium build on Nov. 21. “I think all of us at that moment had that wake-up moment that this is a Super Bowl-ready city.”
When will the new Tennessee Titans stadium be finished?
The groundbreaking for the new stadium, located directly next to Nissan Stadium, took place in 2024, following the 2023 NFL season, according to the Titans.
