Police are investigating after a woman said she found a hidden camera in a bathroom of a thrift store in Chicago over the weekend.
Around 3:30 p.m. on March 5, a 33-year-old woman was shopping at the Village Discount Outlet thrift store in Logan Square, located at 2032 N. Milwaukee Ave., when she found what appeared to be a hidden camera in the store bathroom.
Police said officers recovered the camera and an investigation remains ongoing.
The Logan Square location is one of nine Village Discount Outlet locations in Chicago, and there is also one in Chicago Heights and in Hammond, Ind.
Village Discount Outlet did not immediately respond to NBC Chicago’s request for comment.
Hidden cameras found in Chicago-area businesses have made headlines several times in recent months.
