2026 NCSA Age Group Swimming Championships
March 25-28, 2026 Rosen Aquatic and Fitness Center, Orlando, Florida Short Course Yards (25 yards) Full Meet Results (PDF)The 2026 NCSA Age Group Swimming Championships were highlighted by the NOVA of Virginia Girls breaking the 11-12 200 free relay National Age Group Record, as Harper Grace Johnson (12), Yara Tsybulina (12), Isobel Tran (12), and Adry Francis (11) totaled for a final time of 1:37.94, which broke the previous mark set back in 2018 of 1:38.32.
But outside of just that record, there were a slew of other notable performances across the meet, including 14-year-old Elliot Leasure, who was dominant in his efforts in Orlando, breaking the 100 backstroke meet record in 47.84, not even besting his own personal fastest time ever, and was the only swimmer in the event under 50 seconds. He did manage to pick up several other wins, including the 200 free in 1:39.24, which marked a more than three-second drop from his newly minted best time from the MN NSAC 11-14 SC State Championships a week earlier in 1:42.98.
Leasure was also involved in one of the top races of the week, as he and Laker Swim’s Jayden Tsai both were under the 200 fly meet record of 1:50.17 set in 2024 by Thomas McMillan. Leasure would not be denied here, comfortably taking the win in 1:47.36, a more than three-second timedrop from his previous best of 1:50.75. Tsai was just over two seconds behind in 1:49.64.
Tsai had a productive week of his own, notching multiple event victories, including best times in the 200 IM (1:49.36) and 500 free (4:29.83).
Verona Area Swim Team’s Caleb Goodavish, 12, was the biggest winner on the boys side of the meet, winning nine of his individual events, including eight personal bests in the 50 free (22.42), 200 free (1:47.38), 50 back (25.75), 100 back (55.86), 50 fly (24.12), 100 fly (54.09), 200 fly (2:02.89), 100 IM (55.80), and 200 IM (2:01.27). Among his nine wins, he set meet records in the 50 free and the 200 free.
12-year-old Roman Olsen of the Ketchikan Killer Whales notched a 12 & under meet record in the boys 100 breaststroke, touching over two seconds faster than the rest of the field for the win in 1:02.32.
Rise Aquatic Clubs, Isla Rapcan notched a new championship record in the girls 13-14 200 breast in 2:14.76. That time marked a more than three-second drop from her pre-meet best in 2:17.89 from the IN CSC Winter Invite in January.
The men’s 13-14 200 breast also saw a new meet record as Long Island Ryan Yao obliterated both the former record and the event field in 2:03.19, touching as the only swimmer under 2:09.4, and besting Aleksandr Ries’ 2023 record time of 2:05.03.
14-year-old Kam Gardiner also nabbed a meet record in the 13-14 girls 200 fly, clocking 2:00.12, just sneaking under her own meet record from last season of 2:00.46.
Amelia Alsina of Rockville Montgomery Swim Club crushed a new 200 free best en route to a new 11-12 meet record in 1:54.25, dropping more than a half second from her previous best of 1:54.83 from the PV 14 & Under Championships two weeks earlier.
Long Island Aquatics Club’s Morgan Wu, 12, found similar success to Goodavish on the girls’ side, earning six event wins, those being the 50 back (26.61), 100 back (57.10), 50 fly (25.40), 100 fly (56.27), 200 fly (2:08.97), and the 100 IM (59.51).
