In an Instagram post announcing the tour, Weezer also revealed they are hosting special fan events for several days leading up to the release of the single from their 20th studio album, Shine Again, scheduled on April 1.
“BEFORE THE GATHERING SPREADS, IT IS BORN IN LOS ANGELES. INITIATION WEEK BEGINS TONIGHT,” the post reads, outlining the date, location and type of the event.

The second half of the year will be busy for the award-winning band as Weezer: The Gathering tour kicks off on Sept. 8 in Sacramento, California, covering major cities in North America like Chicago, Toronto, New York, Ohio and more before wrapping up on Oct. 24 in Los Angeles.
