ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A frontal boundary will be meandering across and near Western New York over the next 48 hours. This will bring warmer temperatures, but there will be an increasing threat of severe thunderstorms, especially late Monday and Tuesday.
Any storms will likely have the usually gusty winds, hail and lightning, but the greatest potential will be localized flooding. It should be noted that there is still significant uncertainty on the timing and intensity of any storms. However, these storms have the potential to produce tree and powerline damage.
