I don’t have any regrets about the Cubs’ trade for Edward Cabrera, who will be with the team for at least three seasons and has Ace upside if he can just stay healthy and in control of his heater. And so I don’t plan to track the performance of Owen Caissie, the main prospect sent to the Marlins, all year long the way I am right now. But because we’re just a few games into the season and because what he just did was awesome, I thought you’d all like to see it.
So here’s Owen Caissie hitting a walk-off two-run homer to propel the Marlins to a win over the Rockies.

It’s been a good start for Caissie so far this season, but like I said yesterday, I just don’t have too much trouble rooting for him. At least, not until he faces the Cubs.
