Pre-Gamin’: Bulls at Grizzlies (7:00 PM CT) – Projected Lineups, How to Watch, More ...Middle East

Sport by : (Bleacher Nation) -

Two teams, both eliminated from postseason basketball, meeting on the second night of a back-to-back, as the Memphis Grizzlies get set to host the Chicago Bulls tonight. Both are coming off losses in their last outing, maybe losses they didn’t exactly hate, but tonight, one of them has to walk away with a win.

If I had to pick, I’d lean toward the team that still tries to win every game it plays, the one not being quietly steered in another direction by ownership or anything like that.

No More Play-In! Bulls Eliminated From Post Season Play as the Thunder Win 131-113 – March 27, 2026

What to Watch For

Last night, the Chicago Bulls played two completely different brands of basketball in the same game. In the first half, they were a step above the Oklahoma City Thunder, the reigning NBA champions and, right now, the best team in the league. Then the second half hit, and so did a brutal six-and-a-half-minute scoreless drought, during which the Thunder ripped off a 22–0 run. The inconsistency with Chicago is tough to predict, and even tougher to game-plan against.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) March 28, 2026 Josh Giddey had one of his worst scoring nights. He finished with five points on 9% shooting from the field and 0% from three. He did dish out 11 assists, but all that shot-taking without shot-making proved costly in a game where the Bulls had the Thunder shell-shocked. Tonight, though, he has a chance to bounce back against a team that’s simply not as strong. Leonard Miller, the 22-year-old forward Chicago acquired in a trade for Ayo Dosunmu, is now on a nine-game streak of double-digit scoring. That run really took off during his five-game stretch as a starter while Isaac Okoro was out. Since Okoro’s return, though, Miller’s been pushed back to the bench, a move I’m not a huge fan of. In an ideal world, Billy Donovan rolls out a lineup of Giddey, Matas, Okoro, Miller, and whichever big man is available that night.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) March 28, 2026 This matchup is the second night of a back-to-back for Chicago, and for the Memphis Grizzlies as well. Last night, Memphis hosted the Houston Rockets and dropped that game by 10. Olivier-Maxence Prosper was the standout, putting up a game-high 31 points on 80% shooting from both the field and beyond the arc. Over his last 13 games, he’s averaging 15 points, 5 rebounds, and nearly two steals on great efficiency. If the Bulls want a win, slowing him down has to be near the top of the list.

— Memphis Grizzlies (@memgrizz) March 28, 2026 I’d say don’t hold your breath if you’re expecting the cleanest, most competitive basketball here. Both teams are out of the playoff picture and locked in a race to the bottom, stacking losses in hopes of boosting their lottery odds.
