She accumulated a 245-173 record across her 13 seasons at Alabama, which included five NCAA tournament appearances. She also led Alabama to three straight second round appearances, the program’s most successful stretch in the Big Dance since the Rick Moody era.
Curry signed a four-year contract extension last summer, which boosted her pay to $700,000 per year. Instead of fulfilling that contract, Curry will trade crimson and white for green and gold after a lengthy tenure in Tuscaloosa.
