The Georgia Tech catcher is hitting .425 with 9 homers, 8 doubles, and 33 RBI. He is sporting an absurd OPS of 1.396 through 24 games. Already a strong defender behind the dish, his offensive game has made great strides in the last year, which has him looking like a top 10 pick for sure this summer. He makes consistent contact and has scouts drooling with a power surge in 2026.

High school shortstop Grady Emerson isn’t far behind him, though. The dude doesn’t have many flaws in his game, and his swing from the left side is extremely polished for an 18-year-old. He’s smooth in the field, too, and shows off an above-average arm as part of an impressive makeup. It will be fun to track the high schooler this spring to see if he can make a strong push for the top pick this summer.

His bat speed and strength are off the charts, and that’s what scouts are extremely excited about moving forward. A few tweaks to his approach, and he could be a 25-30 homer guy down the road. Booth Jr. is committed to Vanderbilt but might be passing that up as a top 15 pick this summer.
