Spring is officially here and that means fans should start getting excited about the Arizona State Fan Fest, which has been set for Friday, April 17, at Mountain America Stadium in Tempe.
ASU football got spring camp underway Thursday, with old and new faces joining head coach Kenny Dillingham for his fourth season at the helm, and the work’s end coincides with the free celebration, which honors Sun Devil Athletics.
The annual event will go from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and a fireworks display will wrap things up at 7:45 p.m. Gates open to fans of all ages at 5 p.m. and the stadium-specific gates open at 5:30 p.m.

Free parking will be offered in the north end zone of Mountain America Stadium as well as lots 58 and 59 and the nearby Packard Stadium lots along Packard Drive.
Sun Devils fans can look forward to a family fun zone, which features face painting and lawn games. Attendees can also try their hand at a football skills challenge, basketball pop-a-shot and hitting and pitching simulators.
Youth, if they are brave enough, can do their best sideline reporter impression, having the opportunity to ask ASU athletes questions while on the stadium video board. Those ages 5-10 can participate in the Kid’s Tillman Run Out at 5:45 p.m., where they get to run out of the Tillman Tunnel just like football players do on game day.
There will also be several giveaways at the event, such as a Jordyn Tyson-signed banner.
