Runners are ready to leave winter behind and lock in for the season at the 45th Bank of America Shamrock Shuffle on Sunday.
Grant Park will be filled with a sea of runners, supporters, organizers, and volunteers celebrating a key seasonal shift: Chicago’s unofficial start to spring.
It’s easy to fall in love with this race, with a 2-mile walk and an 8K course just under 5 miles, all set against the city’s iconic skyline.
The running community in Chicago is a huge part of what makes this time of year special. Participants will represent crews from across the city, including women-led groups and nonprofit organizations, with several events planned in support.
