2026 SCS Spring Age Group Championships
March 12-15, 2026 Splash! La Mirada Regional Aquatics Center, La Mirada, California Short Course Yards (25 yards)The 10 & under boys from Rose Bowl Aquatics broke a historic team record in the 200 medley relay on Sunday evening at the Southern California Swimming Spring Age Group Championships. The previous mark had stood for more than a decade, since 2015.
In this case, breaking a team record also meant breaking one of the oldest National Age Group Records as well.
The team of Marcus Soetanto, Ernest Hsu, Aiden Woo, and Aikent Lukito combined for a 2:00.12. That smashed over a second off the old team, LSC, and national record of 2:01.26 set in 2015.

That included over two seconds on the breaststroke leg by Ernest Hsu.
Of the group, Soetanto and Lukito picked up individual wins. Soetanto won the 50 breast (33.76) and 100 breast (1:12.06) individually, while Lukito won the 50 free (26.52) and 100 free (57.64). Those were both best times for Lukito.
Irvine Novaquatics wound up sweeping the boys’, girls’, and overall team titles at the meet. Aquazot was 2nd and Rose Bowl finished 3rd.
