Pre-Gamin’: Grizzlies at Bulls (7:00 PM CT) – Projected Lineups, How to Watch, More ...Middle East

Sport by : (Bleacher Nation) -

The battle for the eighth-best odds in the 2026 NBA Draft kicks off tonight between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Chicago Bulls. Memphis has three more losses than Chicago, and the result tonight could help decide whether the Bulls should continue to tank or just do whatever they want for the rest of the season.

But we can still expect a strong showing of youth between the two teams — and maybe even get a glimpse of what the future of the NBA could look like.

Bulls Close Out 5-Game West Coast Trip With 119–108 Loss to Clippers — March 14

What to Watch For

After a five-game West Coast road trip, the Chicago Bulls are back at home tonight and ready to ride the momentum of the “young guys” who all took a step up during the trip. Over the road trip, Matas Buzelis averaged 25 points per game, eight rebounds, two blocks, and a steal per game. He also put up a career-high 41-point performance in a win against the Golden State Warriors. He’s been able to do more offensively, slashing at will, showcasing great footwork, and putting up attempts from behind the arc like a sharpshooter. Matas’ game against the Clippers was underwhelming, but we could expect to see him get his rhythm back against a team that has little interest in stopping him.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) March 11, 2026 Josh Giddey has been averaging a triple-double in the month of March and has been shooting the lights out of every arena in California. He’s averaging 21 points, 13 assists, and 11 rebounds while shooting 46% from behind the arc on nearly nine attempts per night. He’s climbing up the record books and could crack the top-15 all-time before this season ends.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) March 14, 2026 Twenty-two-year-old Leonard Miller went from being a throw-in in the Rob Dillingham–Ayo Dosunmu trade, to picking up DNPs, to becoming a starter in the blink of an eye. Over his last three starts, he’s averaging 15 points, nine rebounds, and a steal per game. He’s a high-effort player trying to make the most of his minutes and has fit in well with what the Bulls are building. He’s also formed a great pairing with Josh Giddey, who loves setting up athletic wings like him.

— Chicago Bulls (@chicagobulls) March 14, 2026 Rob Dillingham looked like the odd man out of this “young core,” but he has strung together a couple of games showing promise. Over that very small stretch, he’s averaging 12 points, five assists, five rebounds, and a steal per game. If he performs just as well tonight, a real conversation could start to form around his role.

— Real App (@realapp) March 14, 2026 For Memphis, their injury report is even longer than it already was. They’re on a seven-game losing streak and seem to be hoping to free-fall down the standings until the final buzzer of the 2026 NBA season. Their minutes are evenly distributed from top to bottom, and all their good players have been stored away like expensive china. It will take the Bulls a lot more work to lose this game than it will to win it. Still, they did just lose to the Sacramento Kings, and right now, even the Memphis Grizzlies might feel like a step up.
