The multinational fast food chain that prides itself on burgers, hot dog and fries took to social media to announce a change coming to one of its products, but the response they received from loyal customers was likely not what they expected.
The franchise further clarified that they would now be serving fries in paper bags, ensuring that nothing has changed, writing, "We're still using the same fresh-cut potatoes and generous portions, but this new packaging helps fries hold their texture and keeps takeout and delivery fresher, longer."
In addition to the benefit of freshness, the chain also added, "We're also proud to share that these bags are made from biodegradable natural kraft paper and are food-grade, grease-resistant, BPA- and PFAS-free. ♻️."
