The heavy metal band kicked off the year with a high-energy show as they participated in the cruise scheduled from Jan. 29 to Feb. 2.

In an interview with Australia’s independent music web platform Heavy Magazine, as reported by Metal Injection, the guitarist injured his back during the second day of the performance.

For their safety, the cruise “stayed off the coast of Florida” for about 20 or 30 miles offshore.
According to him, the band had to play outdoors despite the freezing weather, which made the performance physically difficult.
“So we played,” he continued. “And we are very physical performers. I move around quite a bit on stage, jumping, stomping; I'm all over the place. And there was no way for my muscles — even though I warmed up, my muscles never warmed up. And by the end of the next day, after playing that show in the cold, my back went out, and I could barely walk for a week, probably. I couldn't tie my shoes. I couldn't fucking put pants on. I never had pain like that, back spasms like this. It was insane."

"Every night on the tour seeing massage therapists, seeing f—g osteopaths, anything to get me through the show every night," he shared.
