These would be fantastic on whipped ricotta toast or tossed into a salad.Sweet Prince Tomatoes packed in Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Red Wine Vinegar: A cherry tomato variety bred for concentrated sweet, bright flavor. This one is practically made for pasta.Sweet Garleek with White Balsamic Vinegar and Dijon Mustard: Row 7's garlic-leek hybrid, cooked confit-style. Great on a grilled cheese or mixed into a dip.
Although you can definitely tell that these were made to function as low-effort recipe upgrades perfect for folding into pasta or slathering on toast, I decided to try each one au natural and can confirm they are, in fact, delicious. As someone who already loves tinned fish (looking at you, Fishwife), I was plenty excited to give these new veggie tins a try, but I wasn’t prepared to have found my new pantry staple all in one fell swoop.

Even more than the beautifully cooked vegetables bursting with flavor and texture, the marinades in each can add an extra layer of flavor that makes these virtually perfect. You can use them as an ingredient in a variety of recipes or eat them straight out of the tin like I did. The tins are bursting with flavor and texture, and although they probably won’t last, each one is shelf-stable for up to two years. While they’re not exactly cheap at $7.99 a tin or $29 for a pack of three, once you taste them, you’ll definitely understand the more premium price point.
