Eva Mendes was prepared for Ryan Gosling to give her a shout-out while he hosted Saturday Night Live.
Mendes, 52, took to Instagram on Monday, March 9, to show off behind-the-scenes clips of herself getting ready to support Gosling, 45, as he hosted SNL on Saturday, March 7. In the clip, she showed a close-up of her voluminous updo, featuring her crown teased above her head and twisted in the back. The rest of her mane was worn down and in a messy — but chic — blowout.

“My prep for SNL this weekend – in case I was suddenly called out in front of cameras again ?,” she captioned the post, referring to when Gosling surprised her during an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
