Each ticket was reportedly being offered for around ₹10,000. Police immediately seized all the tickets and started legal action against the two men. GS Malik was quoted as saying by PTI: “Tomorrow, a historic T20 World Cup final is going to be held here at the Narendra Modi Stadium. For this, the police have completed all preparations. We are deploying over 3,000 police personnel and around 1,000 home guards.”
Special crowd-control arrangements have also been created outside the Narendra Modi Stadium. Holding areas near the main gates have been prepared to manage the huge rush of fans and avoid any dangerous overcrowding situations during the final.
