CU cooled off the rest of the half, but still took a 37-25 lead into intermission.
Walker scored six points early in the third to help the Buffs increase their lead 45-30 and then hit a free throw just before the end of the quarter to give CU a 54-40 lead going into the fourth.
The Buffs’ offense stalled early in the fourth, with eight consecutive empty possessions (0-for-5 from the floor and three turnovers). Baylor took advantage to slice the CU lead to 54-47 with 6:35 to play, the first time it was a single-digit game since the first quarter.
Wooten ended the 5-minute, 10-second scoring drought with a layup with 4:51 to play.
