McKenna Woliczko isn’t done collecting accolades in her high school career.
The five-star Archbishop Mitty senior and Iowa signee was named a finalist for the MaxPreps national girls basketball player of the year, joining four other elite players from across the country.
Woliczko is nominated alongside Saniyah Hall (SPIRE Academy, Ohio), Jerzy Robinson (Sierra Canyon, California), Kaleena Smith (Ontario Christian, California) and Olivia Vukosa (Christ the King, New York).
According to the MaxPreps story, Woliczko is averaging 21.0 points per game while shooting 72.8 percent from the field in 18 games since she returned in January from an ACL injury that sidelined her for most of her junior season.

It has been a full week of recognition for Woliczko, who received her McDonald’s All-American jersey during a ceremony at Mitty on Tuesday morning.
Mitty returns to the court on Saturday when it hosts No. 5 seed San Ramon Valley in the CIF NorCal Open Division semifinals.
