Ted Danson is attached to Extraordinary Origins, a series examining the inventions and discoveries that helped shape the modern world.Bacon will host and executive produce History’s Strange Fortunes, a series exploring unbelievable financial stories from history.Selleck will host and narrate Crime and Justice, which will explore some of the most consequential criminal cases and investigations in American history.Good Morning America co-anchor Robin Roberts is executive producing a new two-hour documentary about the September 11th attacks titled 102 Minutes Inside the Towers to mark the 25th anniversary this year. The documentary will offer an immersive and unique perspective through firsthand accounts from those who were inside the World Trade Center that day.Action star Dolph Lundgren is also joining the network with History’s Greatest Machines, a series that will dive into the engineering and innovation behind machines that changed the world.

New Documentaries and True Crime Series Coming to A&E
Another project, The Gotti Files, will feature interviews with John Gotti Jr. and John Gotti III while examining the powerful and controversial Gotti crime family.
Actor Jim Belushi is also stepping into the unscripted world with K9 PD with Jim Belushi, which will follow police officers and their K9 partners responding to high-stakes calls.
Lifetime is expanding its original movie lineup with several star-driven projects.
Among the new films announced is Angel in the Rubble, starring Sherri Shepherd as Genelle Guzman, the last survivor rescued from the World Trade Center rubble after the September 11 attacks.
Country star Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black are also executive producing When I Said I Do, a movie inspired by their famous duet.
