For anyone in need of home repairs, renovations or even enrichments, the Greeley Tribune’s annual Home and Garden Show is the place to be this weekend.
The 43rd iteration of the Home and Garden Show will run from noon to 5 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at Island Grove, 501 N. 14th Ave., in Greeley.
“It’s a one-stop shop,” McCreery & Sun owner Michelle Butterworth said. “I think it’s phenomenal the way it has so many different types of businesses. If you need a bathroom done, if you need roofing repairs, if you need gutters, it’s all there,” Butterworth said. “On top of that, a lot of vendors run show specials, so not only are you getting that one-stop shop, you’re getting their absolute best deal.”
McCreery & Sun recently started sponsoring the event, having been a mainstay at the show for the past two decades.
The event has been a great opportunity to get her business in front of a ton of customers, new and old, Butterworth said. It also helps her put faces to the names of so many of those her business serves.
“As owners and office staff, we might talk to a customer 50 times and never meet them in person,” she said. “So the home and garden show has been a great way for us who are office-bound to meet our customers. And that is super important to us.”
Butterworth also enjoys taking time each year to look around at the hundreds of booths that pack Island Grove. She still uses kitchenware she bought years ago, and she raves about booths featuring homemade bread and homemade dips and sauces she sampled last year.
“A lot of people think it’s just going to be home repairs, and that’s not always the case,” she said. “There’s a lot of variety of booths for crafting people and foodies and that type of stuff.”

There will also be a “Kid Zone,” and giveaways, contests and sweepstakes aimed at keeping the children entertained.
